Week 5 Thursday Prayer Meeting

Hello, readers of UCSDIVPRAYER weblog, i hope your weeks are all going well!
His Kingdom is not of this world! Jesus is not bound by our political, economical, and especially social trappings. We are reminded that everything good is done through the work of the Holy Spirit, not by our intelligence, social skills, or theological knowledge. Jesus did not come to establish a kingdom, with palaces, armies. Nor did he come to establish political parties and seminaries. Not to say that these things aren’t good. However, he came to establish a kingdom of turning the other cheek, loving your enemies, and giving your tunic when someone takes your cloak.
We pray for humility in our lives that reflect the humility of Jesus Christ in being God incarnate on this earth.
We pray for motivation that comes from God and his love for us.
